LaSalle, Ont. native Kylie Masse snatched a silver medal at the FINA world short-course swimming championships in Windsor with the full support of her friends and family who live in the area.
Although grateful that she had the support of many, Masse began her day of competition focused on her races.

The 20-year-old University of Toronto student finished in a time of 56.24 seconds, just behind Hungary's Katinka Hosszu (55.54).
