With the Lou Marsh Award set to be handed out Tuesday to the Canadian athlete of the year as chosen by a panel of media members, we want to know who you'd pick for the country's top performer of 2016.

Sidney Crosby (hockey)

• Won second Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh Penguins
• Named MVP of World Cup after leading Canada to victory
• Leads NHL in goals this season with 21 in first 23 games

Andre De Grasse (sprinting)

• Won 3 medals at Rio Olympics: silver in 200m, bronze in 100m and 4x100m

Derek Drouin (high jump)

• Won gold at Rio Olympics

Meagan Duhamel & Eric Radford (figure skating)

• Won second consecutive pairs world title
• Won two gold medals on Grand Prix circuit
• Took bronze at Grand Prix Final

Brooke Henderson (golf)

• Won twice on LPGA tour, including Women's PGA Championship

Rosie MacLennan (trampoline)

• Won second consecutive Olympic gold medal

Penny Oleksiak (swimming)

• Won 4 medals at Rio Olympics: gold in 100m freestyle, silver in 100 butterfly, two relay bronze
• Won 4 medals at short-course world championships: two relay gold, relay silver, bronze in 100m freestyle

Milos Raonic (tennis)

• Reached Wimbledon final
