Canada celebrates Blue Jays' red-hot bats

vendredi 7 octobre 2016

The Toronto Blue Jays got the job done in Texas, going up 2-0 in the ALDS. While the Rangers managed to make it interesting at the end, Toronto's bats are finally catching fire and fans are taking notice.

Tulo got it started for Toronto with a two-run bomb in the second, and then the fifth inning happened …

That's right: Kevin Pillar, Ezequiel Carrera and Edwin Encarnacion all hit solo shots off Yu Darvish, who was making his first playoff start since 2012.

No stranger to representing the 6ix in the playoffs, Raptors' point guard Kyle Lowry was getting into the game.

Some fans were wondering if this really was in fact an MLB playoff game.

What better way for Jays fans to kick off their Thanksgiving weekends than with a win by the boys in blue?

Even though the Jays have a 2-0 series lead, they can't let the fire in their bats go out quite yet.

Do you think the Jays can repeat 2015 and beat the Rangers? Let us know in our poll.
