Josh Donaldson makes it rain on Cleveland

mardi 18 octobre 2016

The roof at the Rogers Centre was closed, but it was still raining in Toronto.

On Tuesday, Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson gave his team its first lead in the ALCS against the Cleveland Indians.

After hitting a solo home run in the third inning to give the Jays a 1-0 lead in Game 4, there was no denying Donaldson was pumped.

So pumped, he was making this look routine:

Are Donaldson's cleats giving him extra strength on the diamond?

Even Cleveland's favourite son had to give him a shoutout for "rocking" his 'LeBron Soldier 10' cleats this season.

The Bringer of the Rain's energy was contagious as other Blue Jays, notably Ezequiel Carrera, came alive.

Carrera, who has been one of the Blue Jays' most consistent players this post-season, became the second player in Jays history with triples in consecutive post-season games.

All the Jays — and former Jays — hope now is the Rain will keep falling so they can finish the comeback.
