Patrick Chan is the only Canadian left competing in the ISU Challenger Series Finlandia Trophy, currently sitting in third place after Saturday's short program.
The Toronto-native's skate to "Dear Prudence" and "Blackbird" earned him 84.95 points. He sits 2.55 points behind American Nathan Chen, whose score of 87.50 puts him in second place right behind Russia's Maxim Kovtun, who scored 88.26.
Chan will take to the ice again Sunday, the last day of competition, for the free skate.
