Ottawa Redblacks fans tough out winter wallop

dimanche 20 novembre 2016

CFL football is meeting winter today, as the Ottawa Redblacks take on the Edmonton Eskimos in the eastern division final during a snowstorm.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning, with between 15 and 25 centimetres of fresh snow expected to blanket Ottawa by Monday morning.

CBC's Andrew Foote is tweeting some sights and sounds live from the game during the storm.

Snow began to blanket the field well before the game started at 1 p.m. ET.

Fans were handed cowbells upon entry to shake (thus keeping warm?) during the game.

The Redblacks left footprints in the snow as they took to the field.

Fans were trying to keep spirits high, despite the cold, wet day.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
