Justin Medlock's 43-yard field goal with two seconds left in the fourth quarter gave the Winnipeg Blue Bombers a 28-25 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday.
It was Medlock's seventh field goal on the afternoon with his longest coming from 52 yards for Winnipeg (6-4), which won its fifth in a row.
Quarterback Matt Nichols was 27-of-39 passing for 341 yards and a touchdown for the Blue Bombers. Nichols gave his team a nice cushion in the first quarter when he completed an 82-yard TD pass to Quincy McDuffie.
Darian Durant completed 36-of-47 passes for 399 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for Saskatchewan (1-9).
The Riders outscored Winnipeg in the second half and tied the game late in the fourth but couldn't get the lead.
