Addison Russell is having himself a night in Game 6.
The young shortstop has six RBIs through three innings, including a grand slam off Cleveland Indians reliever Dan Otero that gave the Chicago Cubs a commanding 7-0 lead.
Addison Russell, who is just 22, hit a grand slam in the biggest stage of them all. Wow. #WorldSeries http://pic.twitter.com/ysgi9y3r8w

Aided by an Indians misplay in the outfield, 22-year-old Russell hit a two-run double off starter Josh Tomlin in the first to help the Cubs jump in front 3-0. Then he drove Otero's third pitch into the centre-field seats for the first World Series grand slam since Paul Konerko connected for the Chicago White Sox in 2005 (Game 2). It was the first grand slam by a Cubs player in the World Series and the first given up by an Indians pitcher.
Russell is the second youngest player ever to hit a World Series grand slam. The youngest: Mickey Mantle, 21 years old, Oct. 4, 1953.

Russell's six RBI tie the record with three others for most in a single World Series game. Albert Pujols is the most recent when he drove in six for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Texas Rangers in the 2011 Series.
The Cubs are looking to become the first team since the 1979 Baltimore Orioles to rally from a 3-1 Series deficit by winning the final two games on the road.
